DDSD (Developmental Disability Service Division) has a special place in our heart. The American culture often determines a person's value based on what they can "do" or contribute. However, every special needs person is fearfully and wonderfully made, bearing the inherent image of God. We believe that part of caring for them, is caring about their health and longevity.
Working with a Dietitian
We accept Oklahoma SoonerCare, Medicare, and DDSD waiver. Most of our appointments with DDSD individuals are done in their homes or at their work sites. We work with the individual and/or their caregivers to help to optimize their health without diminishing their quality of life. We love doing cooking lessons and food related activities, helping with grocery lists and meal plans, and brain storming new ideas. We can provide Mealtime Assistance Plans and enteral feeding plans, and provide staff training while working with the individuals whole care team.
