HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) is a non-invasive test that measures the levels of minerals, trace elements, and toxic metals in your hair to provide an overview of your body's mineral status. It works by analyzing a sample of hair, which holds a permanent record of mineral and metal accumulation over time (about 3 months), unlike a blood test that provides only a snapshot (and many minerals are quickly absorbed and poorly measured in the blood).
